Yummy, Yummy in my Tummy!

Today was a warm, sunny day for ice cream!!

Robby has been doing alot better digesting dairy, so we decided to let him have his very first ice cream. (He was allergic to cow's milk until he was around 13 months old).

He LOVED it (of course)!! I think it will become his favorite food, just like his Dad!

We went to the doctor on Monday and he weighs 21.25lbs and is 31 inches in length! (and is 19.5 months old). Such a big - little - guy!

A Fun Filled Weekend!

This weekend we had another full house. Grandpa Bob, Grandma Linda, Rob's little brother Alex and their exchange student from Poland, Piotr whom we call Peety, came down from Tacoma to visit. We had a great time catching up with each other, eating good meals, playing with Robby, touring homes, and sightseeing. Bob grew up in the area that Rob and I now live in, so it was really neat seeing his old stomping grounds, learning about Caldwell's history, and visiting with some family that live in the area.

We sure had a great time with each of you and miss you alot!!!

Grandma, Grandma, Grandma!

Grandma's are Moms with frosting!

Robby is one lucky boy. He has 6 Grandma's!
  • Great Grandma Mary (Angela's Grandma)
  • Great Grandma Nellie (Rob's Grandma)
  • Grandma Karen M. (Angela's Step-Mom)
  • Grandma Linda (Rob's Step-Mom)
  • Grandma Carol (Angela's Mom)
  • Grandma Karen C. (Rob's Mom)
I am trying to come up with different names for each Grandma so Robby will have an easier time distinguishing between all of them. If you have any ideas...let me know. (ie...grammie, gg, ).

This week my mom has been visiting from Arizona while on her way back to Seattle. Robby had a great time with her and will miss her very much!!!

It has been neat to watch each relationship and bond grow with each Grandma (& Grandpa's). We are truly blessed with such a loving family!

Our Family is Growing!

Yup, that is right...we have decided to add another member to our family. Look below...

Please join me in welcoming....Fritz the Fish!

Robby new word this week has been fish. Or I should "ish". I wanted to get him a goldfish, but the lady at the pet store talked us out of it. She said they grow too big no matter what size bowl they are in. So we decided to get a Beta. Robby was a little hesitant about sitting next to him at first, but he warmed up to him quickly. He even started dancing for Fritz.

^Not quite sure what to think...^

In the video below you can hear him trying to say fish.
It comes out as ""ish". He is so proud!

Mr. Sandman

This is Robby's first sandbox. Like most boys...he loves playing in the dirt or sand, so he had a blast playing in his new sandbox. He decided to skip his nap today-so I wasn't able to get many smiles from him. Plus, being very tired and playing in a sandbox didn't mix very well...he kept rubbing his eyes with his sandy hands. But despite how tired he was, he kept digging and had a great time!

At the end of the pictures, I've included a short video. If you listen closely you can hear him talking. His favorite phrase this week is "uh-oh" and you'll also hear him say c-c-car. A few months ago he started saying the phrase "what's that" and says it over and over again. And just recently he has started saying cow, clock and lock. He really likes the c-words. He is getting to be such a big boy!
